When you symbolically adopt an animal at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, you help us provide the best possible animal care.
Please allow 24 hours for picking up Animal Adoptions from the Aquarium.

FAQ’s
Each adoption lasts one year from the date your name recognition is published, which can take up to two weeks after purchase. Guests often renew each year after their adoption expires.
If you choose in-person pickup when purchasing your adoption, your gift basket will be waiting in our Welcome Center. You don’t need an admission ticket to grab it, just give your information at the counter and an agent will bring it out. Keep an eye out for an email from our Guest Services team letting you know when it’s ready.
Adoptions are a one-time donation. The only time you’d pay again is if you choose to renew after your adoption expires.
You won’t get hands-on interaction with your adopted animal, but you’re always welcome to visit their habitat! For a more personal animal experience, check out our Ambassador’s Council.

It’s on the second floor of the Aquarium, just to the left of the stairs.
Anyone can! Adopting as a gift for someone else? Just add their information under “certificate name” on our online adoption form.
If your adoption package includes admission tickets, they’re valid for one year from the day they’re printed, so you’ll have about a year to use them.
Your plush matches the animal you adopt.
