ABOUT US
Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, Utah, is home to more than 5,000 animals from around the world. Conveniently located off Interstate 15 at exit 291 and just minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, this world-class Aquarium features a 300,000-gallon shark exhibit with a 40-foot tunnel that guests can walk through and enjoy an underwater view of seven different species of sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, and more.

- AZA Accredited: Loveland Living Planet Aquarium meets the highest standard of animal care and is accredited by AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums). Look for the AZA accreditation logo when visiting a zoo or aquarium to ensure you are supporting a facility dedicated to quality animal care and conservation efforts. - Non-Profit: We are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to inspire people to explore, discover, and learn about Earth’s ecosystems. When you visit the Aquarium, your money goes back toward animal care.
- Conservation Initiatives: We believe in building a world in which everyone takes an active part in protecting Earth’s diverse ecosystems. Because all life is interconnected, we believe that we can make choices that will build a sustainable world for nature and humankind alike. - Education Programs: Since opening at the Draper location in 2014, the Aquarium has welcomed nearly 1 million guests each year. Our educational programs reach, on average, nearly 200,000 students every year through field trips, classroom visits, and virtual programs.
