Discover Animal Enrichment

Our team of animal caretakers is dedicated to providing the best life possible for our animal residents. One way they do this is through enrichment. Enrichment can be toys, activities, environments, or even smells that help animals exercise their brains and bodies. Enrichment encourages the animals to do the same kinds of activities that they would do in the wild.

Do you have a pet who could benefit from some enrichment? Try using objects you can find around the house like paper, toilet paper tubes, and cardboard boxes to build a fun toy. Hide some treats inside to double the fun!

More Ways to Explore*

Animal caretakers and animal scientists do a lot for the critters they work with! Sometimes, they even play dress up! Check out this article from National Geographic to learn more.
