Joshua Tree

This desert tree can live for hundreds of years, but lacks growth rings, making the exact age of an individual difficult to determine. It flowers from February through April.

Cacao Tree
Monstera deliciosa
This tree thrives in high humidity and rainfall, producing large pods of fruit. Each pod contains around 40 cocoa beans which are used to make cocoa mass, cocoa powder, and chocolate.

This tubular flower has over 80 species native to Utah in blues, reds, yellows, and orange hues. It is a favorite flower among butterflies and hummingbirds.
