Daytime Activities
Join us during the day for seasonal activities! Starting November 29, you can visit with Santa from 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Fridays through Mondays.* Christmas Eve hours are 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Aquarium Lantern Festival Frequently Asked Questions
The Aquarium Lantern Festival requires a separate ticket. Daytime guests will be asked to exit the Aquarium at 5:00 p.m. Daytime admission cannot be applied to the Lantern Festival.
The Aquarium is included with admission to the Lantern Festival until 9:00 p.m. on select nights. View Calendar here.
Tuki’s Island: Play & Party Center is not open during Lantern Festival hours.
Aquarium access is limited to certain nights to accommodate large private events.
Plan Ahead & Save to get the best deal. Aquarium Members save an additional 15% off. Museums-for-all is valid for daytime admission only and does not apply to the Lantern Festival.
Concessions will be available for purchase. Outside food is not permitted.
The Lantern Festival will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather and cancellation, tickets will be transferable.
The Aquarium Lantern Festival will be closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. The Aquarium will be open for daytime guests on New Year’s Eve and with limited hours on Christmas Eve. The Aquarium is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
The Aquarium Lantern Festival does not include a Santa meet-and-greet. Visit the Aquarium during daytime hours on weekends starting November 29 to see Santa.
The Aquarium and the Lantern Festival event spaces are wheelchair-accessible. Please note: outdoor spaces are subject to winter weather, including rain, hail, snow, and ice. Aquarium staff will plow or salt all thoroughfares. We advise guests to take extra caution navigating the paths and ramps.
