Ecosystems Van Classroom Visit
Developed specifically for 6th grade, this FREE 55-minute (per class) outreach program explores stability and changes in ecosystems using inquiry-based learning, and interactive activities. Students discuss attainable conservation actions and how daily choices can impact local and global ecosystems.

Student experience may include an opportunity to interact with one of the following Animal Ambassadors:
- Lesser Madagascar tenrec
- Giant cave cockroach
- Three-banded armadillo
- Ball python
- Rainbow boa
- Amphibian
Program Requirements:
- This program is only offered to 6th grade classes at public and charter schools within a 90-minute drive from Loveland Living Planet Aquarium.
- Per presentation, we can accommodate up to 40 students. Multiple presentations can be done at your school depending on the number of students.
Room Requirements:
- Wheelchair accessible
- Free of class pets (fish permitted)
- An adult school representative must be present in the space at all times.
- Busy hallways or places with through traffic are not conducive to this program.
School visits are on a rotational schedule, individual schools will be contacted when it’s their year to be visited by the Aquarium.
