One way we can help the environment is by reducing the amount of plastic that we use in everyday life. However, if you already have plastic in your house, here are some fun crafts to reuse those plastics!

Step 1
Gather your supplies
- Plastic bottle
- Scissors
- Tape
- Construction paper
- Decorating supplies
- Glitter
- Googly eyes
- Paint
- Stickers

Step 2
Select the bottle shape you want and remove the label from the bottle using warm soap and water

Step 3
Select the color construction paper you want

Step 4
Wrap the paper around the bottle and tape it down

Step 5
If the paper doesn’t cover the whole bottle, use paint to cover the rest of it

Step 6
Using orange construction paper cut out the penguin’s feet and beak

Step 7
Using white construction paper, create the belly of the penguin

Step 8
Using black construction paper, create the wings

Step 9
Start assembling your penguin!

Step 10
Cut a slit on the bottle where you want the money to be deposited in (we made ours where the beak of the penguin will be)
- Be careful! Ask an adult for help.
- Make sure the opening is big enough where a coin can fit in

Finish assembling your penguin
