As nocturnal hunters, Lemur frogs spend most of the day resting on the underside of leaves. They tuck in their limbs tight against their body, so only their green skin is visible. This superb camouflage makes them very difficult to spot. At night, their green color changes to brown so as not to draw attention.
Lemur frogs are listed as critically endangered by the IUCN.
